Abstract : Bismuth ferrites (BFO) based materials are commonly studied by material science researchers due to their scope in wide range of applications. This applicability arises due to their multiferroic properties and observed transition temperature at various temperatures. Further with suitable doping, the properties have shown interesting modifications. Therefore, structural analysis over a temperature scale is very important for a material scientist to understand the deep-down reasons existing in BFOs. In this study neodymium doped BFOs (Bi1-x NdxFeO3, x = 0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8) are synthesized and characterized with emphasis on their structural analysis with the help of XRD and thermal analysis on their structures with the help of TG-DTA studies.
