Abstract : This paper deals with the survey article on queueing models with standbys support. Due to many real life applications of queueing models it has become a very interesting area for re- searchers and lot of research work has been exerted so far. It is worthwhile to determine the performance based on queueing modelling as it provides a valuable insight to tractability of the system and accelerate its efficiency. The provision of standbys in queueing modelling is needed for smooth functioning in the presence of unavoidable failures of the system. The present re- search will provide a dig into the work of the field of standbys support.
