Abstract : In this work we propose first time a novel design model for Metal Island Charge Confined Cellular Automata (MICCCA) device. The proposed device model operates at room temperature and presents a practical, extremely low power and highly dense nano-device architecture. We also propose a working SPICE model for this device to analyze the phenomenon of electron transport, physical modelling and V –I characteristics. We utilize the efficacy of proposed SPICE model in logic design by simulating a majority voter circuit. Finally, the low power intuition of MICCCA technology is described.
