Abstract : This is a retrospective study of specific developmental disorders in children who attended a child guidance clinic of the department of Psychiatry, PGI over a span of 6 years. A total of twenty-eight such children were identified. Majority (22) had speech or language disorder and 10 had some associated psychiatric problem. There were no significant sex differences. Some clinical correlates are described.
