Abstract : The paper reviews the various community assessment tools, and explores the study carried out at different levels. Spatial methods are helped to record the location based data, whereas community feelings are studied in relational methods, temporal methods are used for time frame based data collection. The supplementary methods such as survey transect walk and community café tools are widely used in community assessment. The paper summarizes different community assessment tools, application and its significance.
