Abstract : The innovative Smart Soil system, carefully crafted using OMNeT++, marks a significant breakthrough in precision farming as it seamlessly incorporates the advanced capabilities of Power Aware Multi Access Signaling (PAMAS) and ALOHA protocols. With utmost efficiency, this technology effectively monitored and accurately tracked real-time soil moisture levels through strategically positioned PAMAS sensors across agricultural areas. The utilization of ALOHA technology also facilitated faster and more reliable connections between the sensors and the central unit, resulting in the prompt delivery of crucial moisture data. With the ultimate goal of providing actionable insights, this unique system empowers farmers to make well-informed decisions about irrigation, fertilization, and crop management. Ultimately, this allows for optimal water usage, enhanced crop health, and ultimately, increased agricultural productivity. The advent of precision agriculture has not only transformed the industry's accuracy, but also propelled its sustainability and productivity forward. The innovative integration of advanced PAMAS and ALOHA protocols has set the framework for environmentally-conscious and efficient farming techniques, championing the endurance of a thriving ecosystem.
