Abstract : Global pollution is increasing, and all efforts are being made to minimize CO2 emissions and rescue the earth. The introduction of electric vehicles is one such initiative (EV). This paper provides the work on the Electric Vehicles using PMDC Motor. The importance of EV, the challenges and future aspects of EV is discussed in this paper. This paper also emphasizes on the battery used in EVs. The paper also describes the functioning and comparison of each component. The regenerative breaking of the vehicle and the state of charge (SOC %) of the Lithium-Ion battery is examined. MATLAB/Simulink is used to create and simulate a dynamic model of an electric car.
