Abstract : Multiple options are available for urinary diversions following radical cystectomy. In this article, we provide a literature review of the various diversion techniques, bowel segments used for urinary diversion, metabolic concerns of various bowel segments, diversion-related complications and the choice of diversion for Indian population. © 2017, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology.
