Abstract : A scanning electron microscope was used to study the effects of different amendments such as farm yard manure (FYM), pyrites and gypsum on the structure of two salt affected soils from Delhi and South Gujarat. Results indicate that gypsum was more effective in improving soil physical conditions than either pyrites or FYM.
