Abstract : A polynimbus cloud strategy is the use of multi cloud computing storage service in an single heterogeneous services. Cloud computing provide service to various end user using pay as you go model. The Cloud computing facilitate customers to outsource the difficult task to cloud data centre for processing and generating the results. This paper is intended to perform a survey on the current status of research in the domain of multi agent-based systems in specific resource scheduling in cloud environment. From the literature, it is evident that over the past decade there has been a gradual increase in the standard of research carried out in this domain. In this survey, we have analysed various methods was used for Cloud resource allocation. Secondly, we performed detailed essential analysis on different author's contribution in form of Quality of Service (QoS). Thirdly, we did Comparative analysis of various algorithms focused on Resource Allocation (RA) in cloud environment with and without agents. Fourth, we focused on advantages and limitations of agent based resource scheduling in Polynimbus Environments. Further drawn a conclusion by deliberating future direction for research on resource allocation on cloud model using agent-based system (ABS)
