Abstract : Radio Detection and Ranging (RADAR) is a significant technology used for the object detection and tracking. There is regular need of advancements of the Radar as the usage is board for various applications, including weather monitoring, air traffic control, and military surveillance. This paper focuses on the enhancing the RADAR system performance by implementing the processing techniques such as (CFAR) constant false alarm rate, match filtering and Moving target indication (MTI). The CFAR algorithm helps in dynamically adjusting the threshold, can be help to avoid the false alarm rates in the cluttered environment, MTI helps to identify the moving targets and matched filtering improves the Signal to noise ratio by isolating the target signal which leads to enhancing the target accuracy. Our study shows that, even in difficult circumstances, combining these methods greatly increases the accuracy and dependability of RADAR systems. The outcomes demonstrate the higher performance that this comprehensive approach allows in a variety of operational situations, demonstrating the constant development of RADAR and its essential nature in crucial applications.
