Abstract : Digital Watermarking is one of the data hiding technique, has been popular in today's world for providing copyright protection. We will generally use Frequency Domain Watermarking Techniques like DCT and DWT to increase the efficiency. In this paper, a new approach has been implemented which uses PCA for image compression and the usage of LOG filter increased the detection rate by highlighting the edges and also it will remove the noise. The DWT Watermarking has been implemented for the filtered image. The results are much better when compared with the existing one. High improvisation of detection rate can be seen in this proposed technique and the PSNR values for this proposed technique are higher than the existing technique from which we can say this technique is more robust and secure.
