Abstract : As network operators transit to 5G networks, efficient delivery of multimedia services has become one of the most promising and challenging application for mobile network operators today. The video consumption habits of mobile users are exponentially increasing and it causes high traffic on core network. This, in turn results in degradation in perceived video quality and content delivery. The current network architecture is inefficient to handle this huge amount of video traffic. Therefore, it poses the need for traffic optimization solution to enhance end-user QoE. In this paper, we present specific solutions that enable to optimize video traffic management thereby, maximizing QoE of video content delivered.
