Abstract : This paper presents open circuited transmission lines electromagnetically coupled with microstrip line for RFID applications. Two simple configurations of transmission line is considered for band stop response and extended as multi-resonator system for passive RFID tag. The proposed resonators provide compact resonators with good transmitter and receiver characteristics. The resonators optimized by HFSS is fabricated and tested using Vector Network Analyzer.
