Abstract : Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is a complex physiological disorder and is usually diagnosed in adults as a continuation of the ailment developed in childhood, which went unnoticed. It is also a common ureteric complication after kidney transplantation and in people with spinal lesions. Vesicoureteral developed from an early age are associated with gene/s, and there is no completely gratied remedy for the disease. The present-day treatment approaches like surveillance, antibiotic prophylaxis, chemical compositions, and surgery are undergoing fast change based on our advanced understanding in medical sciences. Reux nephropathy (RN) is the renal scarring that is diagnosed in patients with VUR, mostly in association with urinary tract infection. End-stage renal disease is also reported to be associated with primary VUR. The present paper reviews the various options of reux management in adults.
