Abstract : Teaching is not just a profession but a way of life, if not a penance. The role of language teacher is highly influential in the career of a student and if the linguistic up gradation is not properly executed, it would be tremendously consequential. This paper aims at offering practical guidance to the teachers who have just commenced their teaching career. This paper endeavours to advocate the concepts that there would be progressive mastery as far as linguistic processing is concerned since language is not merely a set of rules and that the development of pedagogic skills is personalized or individual to a large extent. The strategies offered are practiced by the author and results are positive and encouraging.
