Abstract : Goal: During the initial outbreaks of the COVID-19 pandemic, the essence of using a contactless hand sanitizer dispensary systems was realized. An Infra-Red (IR) sensor-based automatic hand sanitizer dispensing device which uses alcohol-based sanitizer was realized with locally available materials and components with basic functionality. These low-cost devices can find their use in public places where contactless sanitization is a must. This innovative project work was completed with a cost of less than INR 700.
