Abstract : The main concern of this paper is to model the location and the allocation of the warehouses to the demand points such that that the distance travelled by the transportation vehicle with higher load is reduced. Considering the greener perspective a novel approach is introduced by considering the carbon emissions from the transportation vehicles. In this paper, a model has been proposed for location and allocation of warehouses which is aimed at reducing the carbon emissions by proper location of the warehouses.
