Abstract : From past to present, health is considered as one of the most important factors inhuman lives. Nowadays, much technical advancements are happening around the world, especially in the area of nursing. The primary goal of this project is to assist people in caring their loved ones or bedridden/bed rest patients using Technology 4.0 like IoT. . In the case of traditional nursing, a person must be present with the patient to take care of him all the time. With this, nurses get tired and won’t be doing their job to the fullest. This might bring an effect on a nurse’s job like the way he/she is performing the task in the process of patient recovery. To overcome this, a novel prototype has been designed to monitor and care the patient without the physical presence of nurse. The proposed project includes a micro controller-based circuit, which includes an Accelerometer to detect the hand motion of the patient. RF Transmitter and Receiver are also used for transferring the - data between the patient and caretaker/nurse. The system at the caretaker side has an LCD Display to view the message when the patient gives a particular motion. Also, an IoT Gecko Server has been used to deliver the message over Internet.
