Abstract : According to a research, a large number of people die from waterborne diseases in most of the developing and undeveloped countries. The flips in the sewage treatment causes the treatment of water, which in turn affects living. Automation will help in improving the treatment of water. Every year over a million people suffer from waterborne diseases and a number of them are mainly because of untreated water. Hence it is a necessity to deal with this problem and to make sure most of the sewage is treated before use. One of the major reasons for making the STP automated was to make the sewage treatment more effective and cheaper. The STP automation aims to achieve this by making use of IOT to reduce the power consumption and gives a better water quality which can be used for further use. On a large scale the implementation of STP automation will be way cheaper than the traditional methods.
