Abstract : Cerebral thromboembolism is a serious complication. Early recognition and rapid reperfusion can prevent long-term neurological morbidity. We report a case of successful intra-arterial thrombolysis for middle cerebral artery embolic stroke during percutaneous mitral commissurotomy, which resulted in complete neurological recovery.
