Abstract : This paper presents the simulation and experimental results of a high-voltage parallel resonant inverter which is used as a power supply for Ozonator. High-frequency, high-voltage AC supply is needed for a ozone generating system. Corona discharge method is used for generating ozone due to its high efficiency and production of higher quantities of ozone. A efficient parallel resonant inverter with soft switching is the better choice as a power supply for a Ozonator which is substantiated with the help of experimental results presented in the paper.
