Abstract : This paper focuses on online advertising and its impacts on sales. It talks about how online advertising was few years before and how it has evolved to a great extent because of the Web 2.0 and social networks. It explores the next generation advertising like blogs, wikis, social networks and its effect on the consumers to take purchase decisions. It suggests that online advertising is effective and more and more companies are using online advertising to drive their sales and not just big technological companies.
