Abstract : Artificial Ozone generator requires high voltage AC supply. This paper presents the performance comparison of PWM inverter to parallel resonant inverter based Highvoltage High-frequency power supply for ozone generator system. The conventional inverter has more losses and current harmonics. The proposed system has series Inductor and parallel capacitor network which is used to achieve sinusoidal voltage and current in the transformer primary. The resonant inverter fed ozone generator generates more ozone output compared to the conventional inverter. The switching losses are also reduced due to resonance occurring in both primary and secondary side of the transformer. The performance of the both inverters are compared and analyzed with the help of simulation results
