Abstract : Developing reliable and environmentally friendly nanoparticle production technologies is a critical area in the development of nanotechnology. Silver nanoparticles are significant due to their unique chemical, physical, and biological properties, and numerous applications. In recent decades, several efforts have been made to develop green synthesis processes that prevent hazardous consequences. The techniques of green synthesis for Ag-NPs and their diverse applications are described in this research. The manufacture of silver nanoparticles was reported in this study using a naturally occurring green plant, Euphorbia hirta. The creation of silver nanoparticles was visually confirmed by a color shift from pale yellow to dark brown, as well as a sharp peak in the UV spectrophotometer. XRD and UV measurements were also used to establish the production of silver nanoparticles. The synthesized silver has shown significant antibacterial activity against Salmonella typhi (19 mm) than E.Coli (11 mm). The antifungal results revealed that the particles exhibit excellent antifungal activity against Candida albicans (32 mm) than Aspergillus niger (23 mm). Thus, the biosynthesized nanoparticles can be used as an effective tool for treating fungal and bacterial infections.
