Abstract : Nanoparticles of Magnetite Fe3O4 can be synthesized by Ethylene glycol (C2H6O2) and Ferric nitrate (Fe(NO3)3.9H2O) as precursors in Sol-gel method by changing annealing temperatures. The obtained Fe3O4nanoparticles are characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). From the results, due to change in temperature the size of nanoparticles, saturation magnetization value and covercivity value of nanoparticles are changing. In this method size, covercivity value and saturation magnetization values are increasing with temperature. Under different atmospheres and temperatures the phase transformation of nanoparticles has been studied.
