Abstract : This paper lays an emphasis on the efficient use of water by mankind, quality monitoring of water and provides a simple solution to the problem through of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The increase in demand for groundwater and mankind's careless usage without knowing the recharging capacities of the aquifers has resulted in the present situation. As the availability of groundwater is varied across different regions of the country, it is imminent for a system that can measure the amount of water we use in our day-to-day activities. In addition to the amount of water we use, it is also important that we consume water which is free of impurities. This work has produced a plug and play device that can effectively monitor the water used in our daily activities and its quality.
