Abstract : Al-6Si-18Pb alloy was fabricated using spray deposition method with 430-mm flight distance followed by warm rolling. The microstructural change was studied using Optical Microscopy (OM), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD). Consequently, porosity, hardness properties and tensile behaviour followed by fractography was investigated. The results showcased a higher rolling deformation and continuous and discontinuous dynamic recrystallisation observed in the sprayed Al-6Si-18Pb alloy. The results also elucidated an increase in the rolling percentage from 0% to 60% along with refinement in the grain from coarse to fine structure. Further, the Pb atoms were homogeneously distributed in the Al matrix. The elongation and tensile strength for 60% warm-rolled sample at elevated temperature were 23% and 140 MPa, respectively, and the tensile fracture was lower at elevated temperature for warm-rolled samples. The porosity and hardness got significantly effected after warm rolling in comparison with the spray deposited specimen.
