Abstract : The heaviest challenge in wireless is to provide seamless connectivity even during mobility. In our paper, we have proposed a scenario where we use a telemedicine vehicle which supports IEEE 802.11b and Long Term Evolution (LTE). The connection between heterogeneous networks is done through the support of the proposed Dynamic Media Selection algorithm (DMS). DMS comes into the scenario when the mobile terminal moves from one network to another and there is a variation in the signal strength. This needs to be accomplished with more efficiency by minimal delay and good throughput. It also keeps track of location till the destination is reached. To accomplish this, we will develop an algorithm to ensure all these criteria work well and experimental analysis has been done for the same in NS3. Our target is to find a Dynamic Media Selection algorithm for sending Blood Pressure (BP) data from an ambulance to a healthcare center utilizing WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) and LTE (Long Term Evolution) as technologies for effective packet transmission.
