Abstract : During the combustion of natural gas, methane is released as a primary component, which can be used as a source for heating and electricity generation. Currently, industrial growth is causing a dramatic increase in methane concentration in the atmosphere. If the concentration of methane gas in an enclosed space reaches 5 to 15%, it can be explosive. We observe high levels of methane, especially in damp areas. The development and deployment of reliable sensors are essential for detecting and resolving methane emissions. This project aims to develop a sensor module capable of detecting the amount of methane gas emitted in a particular area, as well as measuring the amount of methane gas that is emitted each day or every week. This device can also be used to detect the moisture content in the soil. These values can then be uploaded to the website and also to a mobile app which can be made easily available to the user.
