Abstract : The area of medical diagnostics has seen an evolution in recent years due to developments in deep learning techniques, specifically with regard to convolutional neural networks (CNNs). This chapter proposes to examine the use of deep learning, specifically CNNs, in the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease (PD) through handwriting drawings. Parkinson's disease is a condition characterized by the progressive degeneration of the nervous system that affects movement control, and its diagnosis often relies on subjective evaluation by experienced neurologists. Utilizing CNNs to analyze handwriting drawings offers an objective and potentially more accurate method for early diagnosis.
