Abstract : Head and neck (face) operations focused on augmenting or changing a person’s facial characteristics have seen notable breakthroughs in plastic surgery. For medical experts and patients seeking such therapies, the careful assessment of results and efficacy in head and neck plastic surgery is of utmost importance. This study article offers an in-depth examination of several image similarity measures specially designed for assessing face alterations brought on by cosmetic surgery treatments. The proposed evaluation methodology incorporates specialized measurements, including the Facial Symmetry Index (FSI), Facial Proportion Index (FPI), Euclidean Distance of Facial Landmarks (EDFL), and Perceptual Hashing (PH), providing a precise and reliable assessment of surgical results. The field of head and neck plastic surgery has increased patient satisfaction by combining these cutting-edge measures, according to medical experts and people.
