Abstract : Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications make use of adaptive algorithms for noise reduction in wireless communication systems. Adaptive filters play an important role to accomplish the idea of adaptive algorithms. This paper discusses different adaptive algorithms including LMS, NLMS and RLS algorithms and comparing the three on the basis of Matlab and Verilog results. The simulation results shows that RLS has faster convergence rate than LMS and NLMS algorithms.
