Abstract : The temperature and current management of battery storage systems are crucial for the performance, safety, and longevity of electric vehicles (EVs). This paper describes a battery temperature and current monitoring and control system for a battery EV storage system that allows for real-time temperature and current monitoring and control while charging and discharging the battery. The proposed system, which is intended to be integrated into the EV storage system, consists of temperature and current sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless communication modules. The control unit can modify the charging and discharging parameters depending on the temperature and current data to optimize battery performance and prevent thermal damage. The system continuously monitors the temperature and current flow of the battery cells and transmits real-time data to the control unit. Results from simulation and experiments that indicate the system can precisely monitor the battery temperature and current and maintain it within safe operating limits serve as evidence of the system's performance. The suggested monitoring and control system has potential applications in a variety of EV scenarios and can increase the safety, effectiveness, and dependability of the EV storage system.
