Abstract : In this paper, we present an ISM band application using different textile substrates by aperture coupled microstrip feedline technique. The textile materials and patch provides the antenna to work in the frequency range of 2.4-5.8 GHz. Experiments are carried out by varying the top substrate like cotton, jean, fleece fabric, leather, tween and Neoprene rubber and the bottom substrates is kept constant as felt (i.e; hard substrate – to overcome the dimension inaccuracy, and flexibility).Several planar antenna structure based on wearable textile material were illustrated; however there is no any adapted feeding method, So an aperture coupled microstrip feeding methods meet their requirements; since probe feed method is further replaced with microstrip feedline using aperture technique and it provides the antenna with its increased efficiency and its performance. Therefore among different substrate cotton achieves more efficiency when compared to the other substrates.
