Abstract : This paper describes the Matlab/Simulink model of Multi-Phase Synchronous Generator and the exploration of PID controlled synchronous generator coupled to a wind turbine for Stand-alone renewable energy generation. It has portrayed that the synchronous generator is well suited to supply two independent three phase loads. While the interaction between the two windings is inevitable and variation of load at one winding set changes the operating conditions at the other winding set, it is still reasonable for a wide range of rural resistive loads. In addition to that, PID Controller is implemented to control the output of Synchronous generator. Simulation results were recorded considering independent loading of two three phase stator winding sets with equal and unequal balanced resistive load which is further compared with the controller output.
