Abstract : Face detection and Gender classification is a very hot research topic in the fields of pattern recognition and computer vision. Face detection is based on identifying and locating a human face in the image, regardless of position, size, and condition. In this paper, we present an algorithm that comprises of two parts, Face detection and Gender classification which are based on haar features and Hierarchical clustering technique. We present experimental results of our algorithm for multi face images.
