Abstract : The engine temperature plays a crucial role in engine's efficiency. This project aims to enhance the efficiency of an internal combustion (IC) engine by adopting engine temperature management system. During cold start, a heating element is used to bring the engine to optimal temperature and to prevent overheating a cooling fan is employed to decrease the temperature when threshold value crossed. Additionally, smart ignition is developed which automatically starts engine when the driver is seated and engages the clutch. This overall system not only improves the engine's efficiency but also contributes to its longevity by maintaining the temperature within optimal limits.
