Abstract : Fledgling animal rights activists are often faced with the dilemma of how one can meaningfully contribute to the animal protection movement by understanding the economics of activism for animals and help in movement building. The journey of an animal rights activist begins when one realises and becomes aware of the fact that all lives matter regardless of species and that all living beings deserve to live a life free of cruelty.
