Abstract : A 32-year-old male, diagnosed with liver abscess presented with sudden painless decreased vision in both eyes. Ophthalmological examination showed retinal capillaritis with cystoid macular edema. Pus from the liver abscess yielded Klebsiella pneumoniae. After drainage of liver abscess and systemic antibiotics, patient’s vision improved in both eyes with complete resolution of the macular edema. This is a rare case of retinal capillaritis associated with Klebsiella liver abscess.
