Abstract : Background and Aim: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) represent fifth most common malignancy and the third leading cause of death due to cancer worldwide. Recent data suggest that orally administered systemic therapy (ST) can improve quality of life and survival amongst patients with advanced HCC. Real-world adherence and tolerance to ST are currently unknown outside the clinical trial settings. This study aimed to assess medication adherence, perceived barriers to adherence, and reasons for non-compliance among patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.
