Abstract : Background and Aim: Accurate diagnosis of infections in hyperinflammatory conditions, viz. acute decompensation of cirrhosis presents a formidable challenge, risking both under and over treatment. We sought proteomics to discover protein biomarkers and pathways linked with infections and derive a tool for precise diagnosis of infections in AD.
