Abstract : With the increased penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) the field of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) system has experienced a remarkable growth for past two decades in its widespread use from standalone to utility interactive PV systems. The best way to utilize the electric energy produced by the PV array is to deliver it to the AC grid to reach consumer. Generally Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) has higher utilization of DC link voltage and smaller wave form distortion. In this paper a novel current controlled SVPWM with grid harmonics compensation is proposed and implemented on a three phase grid connected Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) for the solar PV system. The grid harmonic disturbance is effectively suppressed through feed forward compensation of the proposed method. The simulation validates the performance of proposed controller.
