Abstract : Carbon nanotubes (CNT) are an outstanding development in the field of nanostructure. Unique characteristics of Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) make them a suitable reinforcing agent in Aluminium (Al) Metal Matrix composites. These composites are being anticipated in aviation for their high explicit quality just as utilitarian materials for their energizing mechanical attributes. Most researches have focused on their strength and stiffness of Al-CNT composites for more than a decade. There is no specific review paper for the mechanism of fatigue failure of CNT-Al composites. Thus the objective of this review paper to addresses the fatigue failure mechanism of Al - CNT composites.
