Abstract : When dual-band digital predistortion (DPD) techniques for linearity enhancement are modified to include envelope tracking (ET) operation for efficiency enhancement, the required models suffer from increased complexity due to a high number of parameters. This paper investigates the complexity of behavioral models of dual-band DPD techniques for ET power amplifier (PA). To address this research gap, a novel DPD technique is presented for linearization of dual-band ET PA with reduced complexity.
