The expected benefits of this specialized training include assisting with timely autism diagnosis and facilitating access to special education resources. The implications extend to engendering a more inclusive learning environment, raising broader societal awareness about autism, and potentially enhancing the quality of life for autistic individuals and their families.
The proposed research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews, to investigate the impact of specialized teacher training on autism awareness and support mechanisms in mainstream Indian schools.
