Light Weight Actuator for Manipulator in Robotic Coconut Tree Climber

The actuators play an important role in various robotic applications due to its high precision and accuracy. There are many high performance actuators existing, but the constraints such as size and weight of module make them less desirable for light weight robotic applications. Due to these constraints, the development of high performance actuator module for lightweight robotics is still a challenging task. This research work gives a complete elucidation of the design, development and testing of a light weight actuator module.  which is aimed at high precision and high torque capability.
