Development of a Water Hydration-dehydration Unit

To address the issue of water quality, a water desalination system was developped by the CAE Lab (Computer Assisted Engineering) of the Mechanical Engg department. was a Humidification Dehumidification system. It reproduces the natural cycle of water. Oceans release water vapor in the air. At this point the water is free of salt. Then the vapor is condensed in the clouds, the rain falls and we get pure water in the rivers and the lakes. The international student worked on modelling the system and did some feasability test on field to identify parameters which could be reintegrated int he model.
