The Computer Science and Engineering doctoral program prepares you to solve complex, long-term and contemporary research problems. The proposed curriculum helps in systematically developing enhanced skills and understanding in the area of research. The course work followed by a thorough research work during the doctoral program result in heightened technical and conceptual understandings in the related area. It will accelerate and further the career of individuals in their enterprises or academic institutions.
The mission of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is to train the next generation of CSE leaders who will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to tackle complex problems in various fields such as healthcare, agriculture, education, networking, energy, etc. The doctoral program focuses on hands-on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and also collaborations with faculty members from reputed foreign universities. You can expect to graduate in four to five years and to work on a research project, culminating in a dissertation along with two or more papers in top quality journals.
