Admissions are open for the academic year 2024-2025 for M. Sc. Chemistry at the School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam, Kerala.
Two-year M. Sc. Chemistry course was initiated in 2008 with an intake of 20 students, and currently, there are about 40 registered students for this Master’s program across two years. Active research programs in all branches of Chemical Sciences have been going on since 2004. At present, there are 40 research scholars who are registered for PhD programs and pursuing research in the department.

Graduation in Chemistry or Chemistry as a main subject, with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks excluding language subjects.

A pass in B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 50% marks in each and an aggregate of 60%
Selection for the undergraduate program is based on a thorough evaluation of candidates’ performance in their Plus Two examinations.

Registration for admission 2024 is fully online.
Candidates are required to have their recent photograph, online payment credentials, etc. to be ready to complete the online application process.

The NRI applicants please email to nriadmission@amrita.edu and not be applied through the website.
‘Candidates can also submit the option in Step 2 of the application process, in case if they wish to be considered under management quota.
